What Is a mini-marathon?
Mini Marathons are 4-hour versions of UGA Miracle’s 24-hour Dance Marathon, one of the greatest traditions at the University of Georgia. They are our trademark way of celebrating the fundraising efforts of our community. The Marathon consists of music, dancing, games, competitions, free food, and most importantly, stories from actual Miracle Kids. This is a great opportunity for students from nearby high schools to come together for a common cause! Mini Marathons are funded by donations and are organized by the UGA Miracle Community Outreach Committee. They are guaranteed to be a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved!
To host a Mini Marathon of your own, or to find out how to become involved with a Mini Marathon near you, please contact our Community Outreach Chairs, Melissa Peterson and Jeff Tinsley, at co.ugamiracle@gmail.com.

resources for administrators
Donor Drive
Donor Drive is a great online tool to help organize and maintain your fundraising group. Once a team is created, participants will be able to join your event with or without a registration fee, depending on your preference. From there, each registered member will be able to send out emails to fundraise electronically for your team. Every penny raised online will go straight to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as part of your organization’s total. Administrators can also collect information such as dietary preferences, t-shirt sizes, and get an estimate of how many people to expect at their event through Donor Drive. For more information and to set up your account, please email Calli McRae, our External Director, at calli.r.mcrae@gmail.com.
Fundraising Campaigns
UGA Miracle is here to help make fundraising for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as easy as possible for you! We can easily provide anything from stickers for Casual For Kids days to the manpower for a flash mob at your next fundraising event. For this year’s packet of fundraising ideas, please email co.ugamiracle@gmail.com.
Service Opportunities
When it comes to Children’s, every penny raised provides an immeasurable amount of service, not only to the hospital, but also to the lives of so many families in our community. To discuss additional service opportunities with UGA Miracle or Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, please email our External Director, Call McRae, at calli.r.mcrae@gmail.com.
