Hello UGA Miracle friends and family!
This past weekend was a busy one! Our Parents Weekend Gala, Washington Farms Family Day, and Paloma Park percentage night were all this weekend making it a very memorable time!
Before the Parent’s Weekend events commenced, Impeccable Pig in Downtown Athens opened its doors after hours for our members and parents for a special percentage night and exclusive shopping experience. They were even kind enough to set out snacks and refreshments for our visitors. We cannot thank them enough for this!
Saturday night, parents traveled from near and far to get a special taste of UGA Miracle and boy was it tasty! Trappeze Pub was gracious enough to provide food for our first annual event and to even create off-menu items to make this a truly special event. Live Wire Athens was a beautiful venue for the evening and helped create a really unique atmosphere for our evening event. We are so grateful for Trappeze and Live Wire! Our silent auction baskets were on display so parents, alumni, and everyone in between could bid on the amazing prizes. Baskets included pieces from local artists, golfing packages, picnic kits, and more! Every committee came together to create a special basket of their own to auction along with other donated items.
Sunday afternoon, we loaded up and headed down the road to Washington Farms. Washington Farms has lots of fun activities for our members and families to indulge in. Everything from a corn maze, candy cannon, pig races, and even a petting zoo! We had so many families come and enjoy the day with us which is what really made it fun. Some of our Miracle Kids got to pie our Executive Board Members in the face to end the afternoon! After leaving Washington Farms, we had ANOTHER percentage night! Paloma Park welcomed us in for a percentage night. The food and music were amazing and it was a perfect way to end a perfect weekend!
