When Alison was 22 months old, she fell two stories out of a window and fractured her skull.  She was rushed to the hospital and she had emergency brain surgery. Her parents were told that she might not make it through the night. Alison was put into a medically induced coma, and when she awoke, doctors found more complications in her brain and had to perform an additional surgery. After a long process Alison made a full recovery and is an active young woman thanks to the wonderful staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
